Hello friends of God!!

I am looking forward to meeting all of you and I am sorry that I am just now doing my first post!

My name is Chelsea and I am a sophomore at the C.U Boulder. I love Boulder and seeing all the ways that God is at work amidst the darkness. Boulder is so beautiful and I feel blessed to wake up to the Flatirons each morning! I have learned an incredible amount about God and how He has provided and worked in me since starting college.

I absolutely adore my friends and am so blessed to have such great fellowship! My small group (we call them re-life groups) is so amazing!! I love that we are so real with each other and I constantly learn from and support each other. My family is also a big support. I grew up in Highlands Ranch Colorado and I have a younger brother who is 16. He makes me laugh all the time!

I have a heart for the world, which is why I am and International Affairs major. It completely describes my interests and what I want to do with my life. When I graduate I would love to work with a non-profit such as World Vision. Lately God has been showing me a lot of different things that I could do with my life in the realm of sex trafficking organizations. He knows my heart so well and it is blowing my mind how he is placing all of these things in my life that relate to this trip.

I have a heart for Southeast Asia and I am beyond excited for this trip. I have wanted to go to Thailand for a little while now! My friends say that I am Asian at heart : )  Sex trafficking breaks my heart more than anything else, but I never necessarily did anything about it. Now that God has called me to this, I cannot wait to see what He has in store for us!! He is so faithful!

- I love exploring Asian Markets and pretending that I am in Asia!!

- I am part of the Messenger program at the Annex along with Janie and Kelsey.
