So, a little bit about me!
Basic knowledge: I'm 18 (19 on Feb. 25), so I'm guessing I might be a younger member of the team.
School: I'm currently a freshman at West Chester Univ. of PA. My major is nursing, ambitious I know but definitely something God called me to! Before that, I was homeschooled throughout elementary, middle school, and high school and absolutely loved it!
Personality: I tend to be more withdrawn, especially when I first meet people. I push all my emotions down until I overflow and then I'm a mess...unfortunately. I love love LOVE to encourage people. I'm usually pretty relaxed, not at all a dramatic person:-)
My family: My mom and dad are amazing - they encourage me so much and are two of my biggest role models! I'm the youngest - I have an older brother and older sister - and we're all really close and great friends. I would also include in my family (in terms of loving them:-) my horse, my sister's horse, and the family cat.
My home: I live on a farm, but not the typical cow farm, we just like open space and need fields for our horses. So I live on a farm surrounded by farms in farm country:-) - its fun. Plus, I'm totally a country girl. I don't do any sports (I did track in high school) although I ride at home and run in the spring and summer.
Hmmm - what else would you want to know?
Me and missions: I've been on several mission trips (DR, Russia, Louisiana-KatrinaReliefTrips-, and Swaziland). The Swaziland trip was with AIM two years ago, Ambassador team, and totally changed my life! I am slowly learning that life is not worth living unless I am living it totally for Jesus! I'm finding that a life totally surrendered to Him is the best thing I could ever do and that being a Christian is not just a "big part of my life" - it is my life.
As you have probably figured out now, yes, I like to write and can get a little long but hopefully this lets you know a little something about me.This is me and my horse (Dakota) - sadly, its the most recent photo I have of myself so bear with the fact that its an weird angle:-)
