"They came to sit & dangle their feet off the edge of the world & after awhile they forgot everything but the good & true things they would do someday. "ย

I love Brian Andreas quotes.

Hi, I'm Paige. I'm 19, turning 20 while we're in Thailand on July 29th. I'm originally from Fresno, CA which is in the Central Valley but I attend school at Point Loma University in San Diego. I'm a International Studies major with a concentration in African Studies. I'm not sure what I am going to do right out of college, hopefully get my teaching credential while working for a non-profit, but eventually I would like to teach English in Africa at a kindergarden level. I love people and I know that my future lies oversees, so I'm a huge travel buff. I've been all over but the most amazing trip I've been on was to Kenya, Africa.

I've been on missions trips all over Mexico, but this was my first "long term." We were in Kenya for a month, teaching English and spending time with people. It was truly amazing to see God working in ways I had never imagined. I love kids and the children I encountered in Kenya changed me forever. They were such inspirations and I still think about them daily.

I love books. All books. If you were to check my ipod, you'd be confused with all the different genres of music I have. I listen to everything. I love hiking and being outdoors. My family and I [I have 2 sisters, Lindsey (she's 18) and Shelby (she's 15)] and we're always outside.ย

I'm a junior high leader at the youth group of the church on my campus. I love it. The kids are great and they're so involved in my trip, I'm going to miss them the most when I leave. They're praying for all of us! I am so excited for this trip. In all honesty, it wasn't the trip I had my eye on in the first place. I thought I was being called to go to India but because of some circumstances, God opened my eyes to Thailand and I couldn't be more blessed. I can't wait to meet all of you!
